Nowadays, smoking is one of bad influence in Indonesia. Although people know that smoking is bad for health, they still smoke everywhere. Base on survey in that article, the number of smoker in Indonesia has increased in this several years. The result of this survey will remind us about the consequent of smoking, our next generation will get the influence for smoke of cigarettes and the worst one is cancer.
In Indonesia they don't have regulation to sell cigarettes so people under 17 year old can buy cigarettes, that make many smokers have start smoke before age of 15. The price of cigarettes in Indonesia is cheaper than our neighbor country like Singapore. The other reason people before age of 15 become a smoker is because teenagers have curiosity so they want to try smoking and become addicted.
I agree with Rio. Indonesia does not have regulation to sell cigarettes for people under minimum age. Young age smokers can easly get cigarret.
BalasHapusBut I think, opinion that passive smokers more dangerous than active smokers become one more reason why number of smokers in Indonesia increas. Many my friends have that reason to smoke. They think better to be an active smokers than become an passive smokers,because if they are not smoke but still inhale smoke gas, what are different with become active smokers?
So controle from parents and influence in our environtment have contribute to the number of smokers in Indonesia.
I also agree with Rio opinion that Indonesia doesn't have any regulation about selling the cigarettes so there are many smokers in Indonesia started in the early age. But I think the other reason why there are many young smokers in Indonesia is because there are many adult smokers influence their youngster to start smoking. I think if we can decrease the number of adult smokers it will also have a major effect for the number of smokers that starts in the early age.
BalasHapusI disagree with Dega opinion that many of his friends smoke because they're already become a passive smokers. I think his friends only make an excuses for themselves so they can keep smoking.
i agree with rio's opinion, Indonesia doesn't have any regulation to sell cigaretes for people under 17 so that teenagers can easily buy cigarettes and persuade they friends to try to smoke, and the price of cigarettes isnt too expensive that teenagers can still buy it.
